Join Jay Collier on a photographic expedition of a lifetime to Antarctica

2026 Antarctica Photography Expedition

Detailed Information

Join renowned wildlife and travel photographer Jay Collier for an unforgettable trip of a lifetime during the Antarctic Summer in January 2026.

Fully supported and hosted by Jay, your adventure starts in Punta Arenas, Chile where you will board a private aircraft for your flight into Antarctica via King George Island (2-hour flight) and avoid the dreaded Drake Passage crossing (saving 4 days at sea)

Timed for peak wildlife viewing, this expedition will benefit from large colonies of penguins with chicks of various ages ready to take to the water, several species of whales feeding in the rich sheltered waters along the Antarctic Peninsula, Leopard Seals patrolling the waters as they hunt, and the mighty Orca and whales in abundance. Add to this extended days with perfect light, and you have the makings of a photographers paradise.

The expedition includes:

  • return flights from Punta Arenas, Chile to King George Island

  • Single, double or triple share rooms on board the Ocean Nova

  • All meals

  • 2x 3-hour shore landing per day in Antarctica in a different location every morning and afternoon

  • only 67 total passengers

  • Private zodiacs for our group only so you can maximise the priority for photography and not have to cater to other passengers interests
